Our Coffee
Our Coffee: Ethical From the Ground Up
At WilsonHaus Coffee, the mission matters - but so does the coffee. We’ve built this brand on the belief that how something is made is just as important as why it exists. That’s why we put real intention into sourcing, roasting, and quality, so the coffee you drink is something you genuinely love, and something you can feel good about supporting.
Fair Trade + Certified Organic
Our coffee is fair trade and certified organic because ethical sourcing isn’t a trend to us -it’s a baseline.
Fair trade supports more stable, equitable pay and better working conditions for farming communities.
Organic certification means coffee grown without synthetic pesticides or harmful chemicals, supporting healthier soil, ecosystems, and a cleaner cup.
This is about responsibility at the beginning of the supply chain, not just impact at the end.
Flavored Coffee
Our coffee beans are always organic. For flavored varieties, the beans remain organic, and flavor is added after roasting using a combination of naturally derived and artificial flavoring compounds.
Here’s what that means:
-
The organic certification applies to the coffee beans themselves
-
Flavoring does not alter the organic status of the beans
We believe customers deserve clarity, and we trust you to value honesty.
Crafted With Expert Roasters
We don’t do this alone. From the start, we’ve partnered with expert roasters with over 20 years in the specialty coffee industry who help guide every decision.
Together, we hand-select the beans we source, evaluating origin, quality, and flavor profiles to ensure each coffee meets our standards - for ethics, consistency, and taste.
Our roasting partners help guide:
-
Bean selection rooted in quality and responsible sourcing
-
Roast profiles that highlight the character of each coffee
-
Consistency from batch to batch
-
Quality control from green bean to finished product
This is craftsmanship, not mass production, and you can taste the difference.
Why Our Price Point Is Higher
Ethical, organic coffee simply costs more to produce. Fair wages, responsible farming practices, and quality-driven roasting all come at a higher price - and we refuse to cut corners to make coffee cheaper at the expense of people or the planet.
Our pricing reflects:
-
Fair compensation throughout the supply chain
-
Organic farming standards
-
Quality-focused roasting and consistency
-
Values-led sourcing over bargain production
We’re not the cheapest coffee—and we’re okay with that. We’re committed to doing it right.
Quality That Holds Up On Its Own
Impact should never be an excuse for mediocre coffee. Our goal is simple: make coffee you’d buy even if you didn’t know the mission - because it’s smooth, balanced, and consistent.
Good coffee and good ethics can - and should - coexist.
